"Shimmy Shakin’ Blues" – the lead single from our upcoming album, dropping late December – lands on all streaming platforms August 29 📷
This track was inspired by Denver’s incredible dance community known as Shimmy Shakin' Blues. Led by Felecia Bode and Jenn Delk as part of the nonprofit Community Minded Dance, SSB offers blues dance classes and hosts a monthly social at The Pearl (formerly the Mercury Café). These events feature some of the best blues bands Denver has to offer and bring in more than 100 dancers.
What makes it even more special? The crowd is often much younger than you see at most blues events – meaning SSB is introducing a whole new generation to the joy, groove, and soul of the blues. Shimmy Shakin’ Blues is our way of honoring the people, the movement, and the community that keep this music alive.

Reckless and Blue U.K. TOUR
We are very excited to announce our 2026 U.K. tour in support of our new album which drops on December 21, 2025. We have been working hard in the studio recording ten new all original songs.

My journey with them started nearly four years ago after our first album, Can't Give Me the Blues, was released. I uploaded some tracks to their platform, and they started getting airplay. Radio Wigwam reached out and asked if I'd be interested in doing a one-time "Takeover Show." Despite having no experience hosting a radio show, I was happy to jump in. I played an hour of my favorite blues songs and talked about the genre.
Soon after, they offered me a weekly blues show, and of course, I said yes!
When I started, Radio Wigwam was an online-only station. About a year ago, they began broadcasting from Cardiff, England, and are now looking to expand to more locations.
I was also honored to be a presenter at their annual awards show in London, January 2024.
"Reckless Blues" now airs four times a week on Radio Wigwam. Thanks for tuning in!
